“I have $10 credits and a card on file but still getting ‘Payment is required’ when trying to buy a phone number”
I figured it out. You have to opt out of using link and add a credit card as the only and default payment method. Then it will let you buy a phone number.
Hi, same issue looks like a bug, I already set the payment method, and it’s showing me that I need to add.

In the Retell dashboard, open the Billing page and click Change payment methods — this opens the Stripe customer portal.
Remove the existing Link payment method.
Add your debit card by typing the card number into the form manually (decline any “Pay with Link” / autofill prompt so it saves as a card, not a Link entry).
Set the new card as the default, then reload the phone-number purchase page.
