Text Testing - Add on I am being billed for

Hi Team,

I have looked back over this months usage and billing and have noticed that I am being charged on every call for gpt4.1 text testing. I do not know what this is?

Is there a way I can turn this off. In the last month alone I have been billed about 300USD for this, which is confusing as I do not even know what this is.

“Text testing” charges come from the LLM Playground, simulation testing, or batch testing.these run text conversations with your agent and bill per message at the chat rate for the model used (gpt-4.1 in your case). It’s not a separate add-on fee; it’s genuine usage from testing your agent in text mode, billed at the same rate as production. See Testing pricing.

There’s no toggle to disable this billing category itself, since it reflects actual model usage. To stop the charges, you’d need to stop running text tests (Playground/simulation/batch testing), or switch the agent/simulated user to a cheaper model in LLM options. Check Billing → Usage in your dashboard to see which specific tests are generating this cost.
