Knowledgebase not working

I cannot add a document to the knowledgebase as the [SAVE] button is not being displayed.

Based on the available sources, a similar issue was reported where users couldn’t save URLs to a knowledge base(1). That particular issue was resolved after a few days(1).

For adding documents to a knowledge base in Retell AI, the standard process is:

  1. Navigate to your dashboard and select the “Knowledge Base” tab(2)
  2. Click the “Add” button in the top-right corner(2)
  3. Choose “File” as your knowledge source type(2)
  4. Upload documents in supported formats (.bmp, .csv, .doc, .docx, .eml, .epub, .heic, .html, .jpeg, .png, .md, .msg, .odt, .org, .p7s, .pdf, .png, .ppt, .pptx, .rst, .rtf, .tiff, .txt, .tsv, .xls, .xlsx, .xml)(2)

Each file can be at max 50MB, and you can upload at max 25 files per knowledge base(2).

If the save button isn’t appearing after following these steps, this could be a temporary platform issue. You might want to:

  • Try refreshing your browser
  • Clear your cache
  • Try a different browser
  • Contact support through Discord or visit Contact Sales

I can’t reproduce. Can you share a screenshot or a video showing how to reproduce it?
