We’re experiencing an intermittent audio issue with our Retell voice agent during live calls and wanted to see if others have encountered something similar.
Issue description:
Occasionally, in the middle of a call, the agent’s voice becomes robotic and distorted for a few seconds, then returns to normal on its own. The call does not drop, and the conversation continues as expected afterward.
Additional notes:

The issue occurs unpredictably

It does not appear to be tied to any specific user input or conversation stage

Audio distortion lasts only a short time (a few seconds)
We’re currently investigating whether this could be related to:

Network jitter or latency
-
TTS streaming behavior

Codec or audio buffering issues

Temporary load spikes
If anyone has experienced this before or found a workaround (config changes, recommended settings, logging tips, etc.), we’d really appreciate your insights.
