Problem in the initial message

I am noticing one thing from last few months that when I am talking with the voice agent from web, or from phone call but in normal mode, it’s working perfectly.
But when I am calling a voice agent, While my phone is on speaker, So the initial message of the voice agent is getting interrupted.

What I mean by that is when I’m in speaker and I call the voice agent, and the voice agent just picked up the call, It starts speaking the initial message. And it hears its own voice.
So suppose it’s saying hi, Thanks for calling ABC company. And then it suddenly stops because it’s hearing its own voice and it thinks that the user is speaking.

But I don’t know if this is a bug or a problem of my account. Because I am having this issue with my every agent.

Another point I know of Retell ai is it’s initial message never gets interrupt even if the caller start speaking, voice agent finishes it’s initial msg and only then starts listening to the caller
I don’t know why this default feature is not working while the caller is on speaker

You can set denoising mode to “Remove noise + background speech” — This more aggressive mode removes both background noise and background speech (like the echo from the speaker).

And lower the interruption sensitivity — Set it lower (e.g., 0.8 or lower) so the agent is more resilient to false interruptions from echo/noise.
