I connected Retell to ChatGPT, but I cannot verify which workspace is active. The integration authenticates and can trigger the workspace selector and agent list, but the embedded UI is not rendering for me. I need to know how workspace selection works for the ChatGPT integration, how to confirm the connected workspace, and whether there is a known issue with the workspace/agent widgets not displaying.

If you’re connecting ChatGPT to Retell (for example, via a Custom GPT with Actions, or through a third-party connector), the embedded UI and widget rendering would be controlled by that third-party tool, not by Retell; there is no Retell-built “workspace selector widget” or “agent list widget” for ChatGPT. To integrate Retell with ChatGPT or any external system, you would use the Retell REST API (https://docs.retellai.com/api-references) with your API key. Retell also offers an MCP server that you can configure in tools like Cursor, Windsurf, or Claude Desktop — though ChatGPT does not natively support MCP servers at this time.

I am connecting directly with chat GPT to retell, verified it is correct account, I have a single it says it can build and do things and sees the workspace but shows that black screen where retell stuff should be populating. I cleaned out cache disabled all security , i tried two different browsers. smart app control settings are off, it does the same thin in both edge, chrome and comet. the retell ai seems like it wants to load and but it does not show any of the options

Pick the correct workspace there—everything (agents, numbers, configs) will be tied to that selection.

I have to go back to agents and then it connects fine

Team is getting “No agent found” error for that agent, it doesn’t seem to exist in Retell right now
How is that possible when it answers my phone

The previous link is pointing to an agent that doesnt exist in retell right now, the new one works. Team is looking into it
we making any progress on this, or is it just a waste of time for me to think i can work it with chat gpt and you guy were full of crap about the integration. should I strt looking into other avenues instead of your product can I escalte this to someone who cares
