my agent was working great and I updated the prompt, but nothing happened. I thought it was the prompt but after making changes FOR HOURS I realized it just wasn’t deploying the updated agent for some reason. Any updates I missed?

Have you published your changes and mapped a phone number to the published version?
Retell automatically creates a draft when you’re editing the prompt. When you test it using the web interface, you’re talking to the draft version (your updated prompts).
In order to get that live to a phone number (in or outbound), you need to publish a defined version.
I would click publish, but in the past, it automatically connected the latest published version to the phone number. It appears now that I need to go to the appropriate phone number and select the appropriate version within the phone number. is this correct?
