I have an sms agent that stopped working. It is custom telephony with twilio, and no longer recieves texts. I tried deleting and re adding the number, reconfiguring it with my agent, and even creating another SIP trunk on my twilio side, still the same issue. Voice works fine, as I can make calls to the same twilio number, only sms functionality is down. I don’t get any texts visible on my retell side (chat history) but my twilio gives me a 404 error 11200: HTTP retrieval failure. I have also tried re establishing the “Setup SMS Function” by re inputting my twilio credentials with a fresh number, still no sms functionality. SMS was working fine as of a few days ago, and only recent testing today (March 18) it did not work. My sms agent id is agent_7ded56d4afdade0f1964feb57b.

Any update on this issue? I have tracked it down to most likely being a retell backend bug. I tried deleting and re adding the number, and even trying it on a different sms agent, still same issue. Investigating my twilio logs, I can see my twilio number reaches the retell webhook, but retell sends back a 404, producing 11200 in twilio, with the response body: {“status”:“error”,“message”:"Item chat_f431685fd59ac6e612ee265f433 not found in chat "}. Calling the same number when connected to a voice agent works fine.
