Keep AI Agent on the Line During Warm Transfer

When performing a warm transfer, I’d like the AI agent to stay on the line and continue talking with the caller until the transfer agent is successfully connected.

Currently, the caller is placed on hold during the transfer, which often increases drop-off rates, especially in cold calls, where keeping engagement is critical. Allowing the agent to remain active and conversational during this moment would create a smoother experience and significantly improve connection success.

This feature would help maintain caller engagement, reduce hang-ups, and improve overall conversion rates in live transfer flows.

A wise man once said: “Never give a cold call prospect an out, the second you do, they’ll take it. The handoff needs to be smooth as butter.”
