I am not able to create a second knowledge base

Is it maybe cause I am on a free plan and it would work when I upgrade?

Also, the documents I am trying to upload are not too big, they are all maximum a few kb but there are lot of them about 65. Maybe that is the problem.

The issue is likely related to the number of files you’re trying to upload. Each knowledge base has a limit of at max 25 files(1). You’re attempting to upload 65 documents, which exceeds this limit(1).

The file size isn’t the problem since each file is limited to 50MB(1)(2), and yours are only a few KB each.

To work around this, you can create multiple knowledge bases(1). An agent can have more than one knowledge base linked to it(1).

Regarding your free plan question - the documentation doesn’t indicate that knowledge base uploads are restricted on free plans. The 25-file limit applies regardless of plan tier(1).
