Account blocked after reaching $200 balance despite payment method

Hello Retell Support,

I’m contacting you regarding a serious billing issue with my account.

Every time my usage goes above $200, the amount is charged, but my account still gets blocked. I then have to manually go through the payment process again to reactivate it.

My account is registered as a company, and this is a major problem for us. If I don’t notice the block immediately, we risk several hours of downtime, which could seriously impact our service and our clients.

Is there a way to prevent the account from being blocked, or to make sure the payment is processed automatically and immediately without requiring manual action?

We need a reliable solution to avoid any future interruptions.

Thank you in advance for your help.

Hey, thanks for the details, I have escalated this with the team.

Thank You

Ok, I am waiting. Thank you

Same issue again, could you please help me?

Hey @matteventu7 Team checked your billing profile: the $200 usage threshold and auto-charges on your Visa card are working correctly, and we do not see any recent payment blockages.

To pinpoint what’s causing the blocks you’re experiencing, could you please provide 2–3 example incidents with date and time, or share the exact error message you are seeing?

@matteventu7 This error means you have a open invoice which is why they have this warning message.

Every time I noticed this message, my calls stopped working. That is why I decided to pay manually. I also noticed that the invoice was not marked as pending or paid, but it was flagged in red with a “failed” status. That is why I sent you the screenshot. I only paid it manually without changing the card, and the payment went through successfully. Could you please help me find a solution to prevent my account from being blocked and make sure future payments are processed automatically? This is very important for us, as we are using the account for business purposes and any downtime could create serious issues. Thank you.

@matteventu7 When you see this message, your account is not stopped; it’s just a warning. If any call fails due to payment issues, you will find the reason listed as “no valid payment.”
