Need help provisioning an Australian (+61) phone number

Hello,
I am trying to buy an Australian (+61) phone number for my workspace, but the dashboard only shows United States and Canada under both Twilio and Telnyx tabs.

Could you please manually provision an Australian phone number (Sydney region if possible) to my workspace? My workspace name is “Harry Park… Workspace” and I am already on the Pay-As-You-Go plan.

Thank you.

Hey @harry2park Retell’s managed phone-number purchase (under both the Twilio and Telnyx tabs) currently covers only US and Canada numbers. Australian (+61) numbers aren’t hidden by a setting or an account hold — they’re not in our managed catalog at all, and we don’t have a manual path to provision a foreign DID into a workspace.

The supported way to use an AU number with Retell is Custom Telephony (BYOC):

  1. Provision an AU DID (Sydney is fine) at an in-country SIP carrier — Twilio Elastic SIP Trunking, Telnyx, Vonage, or any SIP provider with AU inventory. The carrier will handle the AU regulatory paperwork (address-of-use proof, etc.).
  2. In the Retell dashboard, go to Phone Numbers → + → Connect to your number via SIP trunking and point your carrier’s trunk at sip:sip.retellai.com.
  3. Assign your inbound agent to the imported number.

Hey @harry2park

I have a video for this very set up, specifically for Australia:
