I have just created the retell account and i need to patch in telephony to retell.

Hey @vishnu Here’s how to connect your Twilio number to Retell via Elastic SIP Trunking:

Step 1: Create an Elastic SIP Trunk in Twilio

  • Set up Termination (outbound): Note the Termination SIP URI. Whitelist Retell’s IP block 18.98.16.120/30 or set up username/password auth.
  • Set up Origination (inbound): Use sip:sip.retellai.com as the origination SIP URI.

Step 2: Move your number to the SIP Trunk

  • In Twilio, assign your existing number to the elastic SIP trunk.

Step 3: Import the number into Retell

  • In the Retell dashboard, import the number and supply the Termination SIP URI (and credentials if using auth).

Once imported, the number works just like a Retell-purchased number for inbound/outbound calls.
