We’ve been using Retell AI for our automated outbound campaigns and absolutely
love it so far. But as we’re scaling things up, we’ve realized we really need a
bit more native control over when and how the AI makes these calls.
I’d love to drop a feature request for the Outbound Calling section. Basically,
we’re looking for 3 main things:
- Timezone Settings: Right now, it’s a bit tricky to make sure we’re calling
at the right time. Being able to just select the local timezone for a
specific campaign would be a lifesaver. - Business Hours: Along with timezones, we’d love to be able to set a strict
calling window (like 9 AM to 5 PM). If a call gets queued outside those
hours, the system should just pause and wait until the next day so we aren’t
accidentally waking people up! - Smart Retries & Intervals: If a prospect doesn’t pick up or it goes to
voicemail, it would be amazing if Retell could automatically try them again.
Even better would be if we could set the interval—like “retry in 2 hours” or
“retry tomorrow”—so we don’t spam their phones back-to-back.
Having this built natively into the platform would save us from having to build
complex workarounds on our end, and it would definitely boost connection rates
while keeping us compliant.
Is anyone else in the community looking for something like this? Would love to
know if the Retell team has anything like this on the roadmap!
