My speech-to-text only works in English.
Deepgram does not recognize Albanian.
Azure gives error: “Custom STT provider ‘azure’ does not support language ‘multi’”.
I need Albanian (sq-AL) speech recognition enabled for my workspace.
Could you please enable multilingual STT support?

Retell AI currently supports 31+ languages, but Albanian (sq-AL) is not explicitly listed among them(1). The supported languages include English (US, India, UK, Australia, New Zealand), Spanish (Spain, Latin America), French, Chinese, German, Hindi, Japanese, Portuguese (Portugal, Brazil), Russian, Italian, Korean, Dutch, Dutch (Belgium), Polish, Turkish, Vietnamese, Romanian, Danish, Finnish, Greek, Indonesian, Norwegian, Slovak, Swedish, Bulgarian, Hungarian, Malay, Catalan, and Thai(1).
For languages not officially supported by Retell AI’s standard ASR, you can select multi for multilingual support in the language settings(2). However, as noted in community discussions, multilingual ASR uses a general/multilingual model which can cause transcription errors(3).
Regarding your Azure custom STT error, the custom_stt_config with provider azure has specific limitations(2). The error you’re experiencing suggests that Azure’s custom STT implementation within Retell AI doesn’t support the multi language setting.
