Conductor quoting costs incorrectly

Hey team, wanted to flag that Conductor is quoting costs incorrectly. Not sure where it got these numbers. They’re astronomical. Workspace ID: org_JlT09JJAnxZjkITn

@michael1 Checking it with the team.

Thank You

Hey @michael1 you’re right, those numbers are wrong. Conductor’s per-call cost figures are inflated by 100×; the real costs for those three calls are roughly:

  • 5.5 min → ~$1.54 (not $153.85)
  • 7.2 min → ~$1.99 (not $199.11)
  • 7.3 min → ~$2.04 (not $204.43)

Conductor is a conversational helper and doesn’t read from the billing ledger, so its cost totals aren’t authoritative. The sources of truth are Dashboard → Billing → Usage and the per-call cost shown on the call detail page (that view does the unit conversion correctly). I’ll surface the display bug internally.

The directional finding in that Conductor report — that email-collection turns are stretching call length — still holds; only the dollar impact was overstated.

Thank You

Thanks! I knew the numbers were wrong, just wanted to flag to your team. Thanks again

Hey @michael1 Update: we have tweaked the Conductor prompts so that it knows to read the call costs as cents instead of dollars now. Let me know if this happens again!

Thank You
