Hi! for example in this conversation:
call_9da2bcf6052428a94ed4c24b19b
for example listen to: “inches the morning”.
Any ideas on how to solve this?
I have already tried adding the custom pronunciation but it did not worked either.

Hey @emilia Thanks for the call ID . I’ll send this to the team for review. Best Regards
Hey @emilia A few things you can try:
-rephrase the prompt
-try different voice/model
I’ve tried different models and voices and it keeps happening. For ‘trying to rephrase the prompt,’ the thing is I have to pronounce that something has to be made in the morning. But I’ll try.
I’ve been paraphrasing a lot of things now due to these issues. Hasn’t anyone reported it? Or is there a definite solution?
I think i faced this issue, it is specific to audios from “platform voices”, try different vendor like Minimax or Cartesia.
Actually, I don’t use platform voices at all, and I’ve tried with all of the available models and the same keeps happening ![]()
Hey @emilia If you can send a few more call ids of this occurring (preferably with the different model/voices) we can look into it more. Thanks
Sure!
Here are with other voices and models:

Hey @emilia it seems like there may be some randomness involved. Our hypothesis is that MiniMax may be doing some speech normalization that is interpreting “in” as an abbreviation for “inches”. Team will raise a ticket with them about this. In the meantime, switching to a different voice provider should help. Thank You
As I mentioned before and as seen with the other calls I shared, this is not a problem only from minimax, also happens with 11labs and with Cartesia
Hey @emilia can you provide 11labs/Cartesia call ids?
