Required Args Check Box for Custom Function Not Saving

This is showing that the request contains the correct required values but the backend is not saving them.

UPDATE: When creating the custom function manually I see no issues with updates and future updates to it. The issue is when I ask the agent to create a custom function. Then future updates don’t get saved.
