## Hands-On: Build a Simple Appointment Agent

### Exercise Goal

Build a working appointment-scheduling agent from scratch and test it.

### Steps

1. **Create the agent**

2. **Write the prompt**

3. **Select a voice**

4. **Test in Playground**

5. **Iterate**

### Success Criteria

- Agent correctly collects: name, phone, service type, preferred date/time
- Agent confirms the appointment details before ending
- Agent handles “I don’t know” or off-topic questions gracefully
- Conversation feels natural (not robotic or overly verbose)
