## Account Setup & Navigation

### Creating Your Account

1. Sign up at [retellai.com](https://retellai.com)
2. You’ll get a free trial with limited minutes
3. Add a payment method via Stripe to continue after trial

### Workspace Basics

- Each organization has a **workspace** — the top-level container
- Workspaces contain agents, phone numbers, knowledge bases, and call logs
- **Access Control** : invite team members and assign roles (Owner, Admin, Member)

### API Keys

- Navigate to Settings → API Keys
- Your API key authenticates all API requests
- Keep it secret — never expose in client-side code
- Use webhook secrets to verify incoming webhook payloads

### Billing

- Pay-as-you-go per-minute pricing
- Monitor usage in Settings → Billing
- Set spending alerts to avoid surprises
